Level 5 Theatre Arts (Dance) Foundation Degree

This course is practical and allows for a mixture of skills-based class work and authentic projects. You will cover a number of topics including:

• Professional dance repertoire
• Exercise & relaxation
• Contemporary dance techniques
• Choreography
• Physical theatre
• Ballet
• Teaching dance for film

You will have the opportunity to collaborate with our students form other performing arts courses on various productions and on study visits abroad.
At the end of the course you will have acquired the professional knowledge and skills to equip you for employment in the performing arts sector or further study/training.

Students will need between 120 and 240 UCAS points from:

• At least two 'A' Levels at 'A2', with one in a related subject area
• BTEC Diploma or Extended Diploma in a related subject area
• Advanced Diploma with relevant Principal or Additional and Specialist Learning (ASL)
• International Baccalaureate

Experienced mature applicants with 3 years' recent and relevant professional experience or other relevant qualifications are welcome to apply.
