Description
This course is aimed at qualified teachers or those wishing to achieve a subject-specific teaching certificate in literacy before embarking upon a certificate in education or a Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector.
There are three modules in each of the professional certificates, these are equivalent to additional diplomas in the Skills for Life sector.
Students must have ALL of the following:
- English/literacy level 3 qualification, alternatively students may sit an entry test in literacy
- Access to 75 hours of teaching literacy over the duration of the course and must be teaching across TWO levels eg entry level, level 1 or 2
