Level 3 Performing Arts (Production) BTEC Extended Diploma

This course is vibrant and varied with a range of practical projects including working independently, in small groups and in a major production. There is also regular theoretical input.

Subjects include:

• Stage management
• Lighting
• Sound
• Construction
• Design (costume/set)
• The performing arts business

Students must have ONE of the following:

• 4 GCSEs at grades A*-C including English
• Level 2 BTEC Diploma in Performing Arts at merit or Level 2 Creative & Media Higher Diploma at merit, plus GCSE English at grade A*-C
• Level 2 BTEC Extended Certificate in Performing Arts at merit, plus 3 GCSEs at grades A*-C including English
• Equivalent qualifications - Functional Skills may be accepted in place of GCSE Maths and/or English

Exceptional entry is sometimes possible for applicants with significant relevant experience
