Description
This course covers a variety of units designed to provide a broad practical knowledge and skills for an IT professional.
In line with the demands of the modern IT profession the units include:
- Health & Safety in ICT
- Develop your own effectiveness and professionalism
- Technical fault diagnosis
- Testing ICT systems
- CISCO IT essentials part 1 (PC Maintenance)
- Website software
- Imaging software
Students must have ONE of the following:
- 4 GCSEs (3 at grades A*-D including English and 1 at A*-E including Maths)
- BTEC Level 1 Diploma for IT Users with English and Maths Functional Skills at Entry 3 or above
