This Level 2 qualification is designed to develop business and IT skills, along with teamworking and preparation for employment.
The course includes guest speakers, presentations and industry visits.
Subjects studied include:
- Financial forecasting
- Personal selling
- Customer relations
- Business enterprise
Students must have ONE of the following:
- 4 GCSEs (3 at grades A*-D and 1 at grade A*-E), including English Language and Maths
- Level 1 qualification at merit, plus GCSE English Language and Maths (1 at grade A*-D and 1 at grade A*-E)
- Equivalent qualifications - Functional Skills may be accepted in place of GCSE Maths and/or English
