This course consists of the following:
- Health & safety in the salon
- Client care & communication
- Promotion of products & services
- Skin care
- Application of make up
- Manicure & pedicure
- Eye lash & eyebrow treatments
- Hair removal
- Stock & sales
- Health & wellbeing
- The living body
Optional units includes nail art & body art.
Students must have the following:
- 4 GCSEs (3 at grades A*-D & 1 at grade A*-E), including English, Maths & Science
- Equivalent qualifications - Functional skills may be accepted in place of GCSE English and/or Maths
Adults 19+ who have industry experience BUT do not have the necessary qualifications can be invited in for interview
