This course consists of the following:
- Understand the range of services and roles in health & social care and childcare
- Understand the principles and values in health & social care and childcare
- Awareness of protection and safeguarding
- Introduction to communication
- Awareness of equality and inclusion
- Awareness of health & safety
- Awareness of person-centred support
- Personal and social development
Students must be aged 16 - 19 years of age and have ALL of the following:
- 3 GCSEs or equivalent
- A satisfactory interview
- Successful assessment activities including literacy and numeracy
