This Managing Food Safety Level 4 qualification is ideal for personnel with responsbility for the following jobs and functions: Quality Assurance, Production Managers, Owners or Managers of Food Businesses, Supervisors with intermediate food hygiene knowledge , Hygiene auditors, with options for Managers in Catering or Manufacturing settings.
This Level 4 Certificate follows the RSPH syllabus, meets relevant National Occupational Standards and includes Government guidelines for healthy eating. It also meets UK/EU Legal requirements.

- Enable candidates to be able to contribute to the management of hygiene in a wide variety of food businesses
- Ensure that candidates are able to determine further training requirements
- Ensure that candidates can identify areas for legal compliance and determine good practice
- Ensure candidates understand the relevance of HACCP in improving food safety
- Ensure canddiates can promote and encourage good standards of food safety
- Enable candidates to be able to liaise with enforcement officers
- Enable candidates to be able to deliver food hygiene training (with appropriate training skills)
