OTHM Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management QCF Level 5

OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management consists of the following 6 Units:

• Unit 1 - Managing Marketing Objectives in Tourism and Hospitality
• Unit 2 - Managing Marketing Planning in Tourism and Hospitality
• Unit 3 - Managing Human Resources in a Tourism and Hospitality Organisation
• Unit 4 - Managing Operations in Tourism and Hospitality
• Unit 5 - Managing Financial Accounts in Tourism and Hospitality
• Unit 6 - Managing Customer Relations in Tourism and Hospitality

Assessment

Each module is assessed by a three hours written examination.Students normally sit three units per exam cycle: three modules in June and three modules in December.

Progression

On completion the OTHM Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management QCF Level 5, the student will be eligible to be considered forOTHM Level 6 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management (QCF) and also will be eligible to apply for direct entry to the final year of a BA (Hons) in Tourism & Hospitality Management.

Entry Requirement:

• The OTHM Level 4 Professional Certificate in Tourism and Hospitality Management (NQF) OR
• The OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management (QCF) OR
• An accredited British Level 4 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management (NQF or QCF) OR
• Overseas equivalent(s), as recognised by UK-NARIC, of an accredited British Level 4 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management (NQF or QCF) OR
• Proof of a minimum of five years work experience within the UK or abroad.

Additional Requirements:

•  English Language Competency (IELTS 5.5 or equivalent)

• OTHM Provisional Student Member Application needs to be completed. The completed form (including a passport size photograph) and payment of £ 40.00 (non-refundable) should be submitted at our college to register you on your chosen OTHM course.

Special Note: Your fee of £40.00 will be deducted from the full student member on joining to the college.

Course duration: 1 Year

Tuition Fees:

 £3,500* for International students and £2,500 for EEA/Swiss students.

*International students applying for visa extension from the UK are eligible for sponsorship, promotional discount on tuition fees.
