Introduction:This programme is an excellent way to develop knowledge and capabilities in the areas of strategy, planning and current issues in the hospitality and tourism sector to effectively manage the business. The Graduate Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management aims to provide students with:

• The ability to understand the interrelationship between the hospitality and tourism sectors
• To explore the strategic issues in relation to business planning and development within the hospitality and tourism sectors, rather than operational issues
• To prepare candidates for senior management roles within the hospitality and tourism industry
• To develop higher level academic skills to enable them to transfer to masters level study

Assessment:All four units are assessed by an assignment. All assignments are marked and/or moderated by CTH.

Module 1: Current Issues In Hospitality and Tourism Management
Module 2: Hospitality and Tourism Strategies and Planning

Entry Requirement

• Successful completion of the Advanced Diploma level course or
• an approved equivalent qualification

IELTS: 5.5 Bands or equivalent (5.5 in all components)
