Description

This study day is designed to prepare/update carers who are working in all categories of health care and who care for clients requiring venesection, cannulation or introduction of IV additives. The day is suitable for registered nurses, who in the course of their work assist clients/residents with the activities of daily living.

The study day will be facilitated by Lecturers/Trainers who work in both Higher Education/University and Clinical Practice.

This study day fulfills the principles of the core standards and would be ideal for updating existing staff and for equipping new staff members with the skills they require to work safely in a health care environment.

- Correct use of lab bottles and tubes
- Hands on practice

Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
