This study day is designed to prepare/update carers who are working in all categories of health care who care for clients requiring the introduction of Intravenous Additives and Safe Transfusion Practice. The day is suitable for registered nurses, who in the course of their work assist clients/residents with their activities of daily living.

The study day will be facilitated by Lecturers/Trainers who work in both Higher Education/University and Clinical Practice.

This study day fulfills the principles of the Core Standards and would be ideal for updating existing staff or for equipping new staff members with the skills they require to work safely in a health care environment.
