Progression:

Learner should have artwork for exhibitions and, if applicable, progress towards more formal training – foundation courses.

Course Syllabus:

This course is not for beginners. Learners should have gained some experience in drawing and painting and will be looking to increase their own skills and techniques in a creative environment.

Topics will be suggested but your individual approach and subject matter will be the prime aspect of this course.

There will be an ongoing evaluation and discussion of your work and individual and group demonstrations of new techniques and materials as appropriate.

External visits to exhibitions in London (one a term) are organised on a non-teaching day to develop your knowledge of current and art history and these visits may initiate the subject for a project.
