Your knowledge and understanding will be assessed in the classroom and your practical skills, developed at College, will be assessed in the workplace. All students will need a work placement in a countryside job for this qualification

Entry Requirements

Minimum age 16 years. Interest and enthusiasm. Tetanus protection is recommended. Working role or work placement for at least two days per week for duration of course.

What Next?

Level 3 Diploma in Work-based Environmental Conservation (part-time)
Level 3 Diploma in Countryside Management (full-time)

Employment as a Countryside ranger/warden, work on a country estate, work with environmental or wildlife charities, countryside/conservation officer, forest worker, parks officer, dry stone walling, landscaper, rights of way officer.
