Attitudes to the countryside are changing. People are realising that wildlife, landscape, conservation and environmental issues need to be considered to achieve sustainable land use, particularly for agricultural and forest production. In order to do this, there is a need for land-based managers who are able to work across traditional disciplinary boundaries. Such people are typically employed within local authorities, statutory agencies, land use consultants and organisations within the voluntary sector. This Agriculture, Conservation and Environment degree degree allows you an element of specialisation within a broad programme that covers the ecological, economic and social dimensions of land use.
