Description
Designed to give users the basic skills required for an IT user today and is Part 1 of the ECDL qualification. Comprises the following: IT user fundamentals, email and the internet and security for IT users. Some computer experience is desirable.
Qualification
BCS Level 1 Award in IT User Skills (ECDL Essentials) (ITQ) (QCF)
Course Content
This course comprises the following modules:
- IT User Fundamentals (finding your way around the computer and folder management)
- Using Email and the Internet (using Microsoft Outlook)
- Security for IT Users (computer, network, organisational secruity).
Entry Requirements
Some computer experience is desirable.
