All our tutors are highly qualified with extensive experience in supporting distance learning students. You contact your tutor via email and they are responsible for marking assignments answering your questions and guiding you through the course to ensure you are ready for your examinations.
There are no pre-requisites for this course, just a willingness to learn.
Students should allocate a total of 110 hours to complete this course. You can work at your own pace but you must complete the course within the 12 month period.
ECDL is the international standard in end-user computer skills. The ECDL Syllabus consists of 7 modules which define the skills and competencies necessary to be a proficient user of a computer and common computer applications. The course covers everything from Spreadsheets to Using E-mail and the Internet.
Please note exam fees are not included in the price of the course. You need to go to www.ecdl.co.uk and arrange to take your exams at a local centre.
In order to achieve the ECDL certification, individuals must pass a test for each of the 7 modules. ECDL Module 1 is a theoretical test of computing knowledge at a general level, while modules 2-7 are predominantly practical skills tests.
