This course is intended for those who need to, or wish to, know how to use a computer. It is suitable for people at home, in a job and for people entering the job market. It will provide a basic knowledge of computers, develop IT skills and enhance career prospects.

There are three modules: Using the Computer and Managing Files/IT User Fundamentals Level 1 Using Email and The Internet Security for IT Users
Assessment Method
Assessment is by practical assignments for each module. Modules are assessed internally by local assessors. In addition, we operate a strict internal verification process to adhere to the standards required by British Computer Society.

Additional Information
Flexible study - course runs 5.30pm - 8.30pm on Tuesdays and 12.30pm - 4.30pm on Thursdays.
Entry Requirements
No formal entry requirements, however candidates must undertake an interview.
