It will appeal to learners of all ages looking to gain the confidence and know-how to use and enjoy today's online and digital devices.

Qualification

BCS Entry Level Certificate in Digital Skills.

Students are evaluated through online assessment.

The course combines online training with practical experience and covers computer and online basics, social networking, digital media, digital photography, digital music and audio and video software, giving learners a flavour of a variety of topics which they can then pursue further, depending on their preferred topics.

Entry Requirements

Learners should have a good basic knowledge of computer skills, ideally having completed the Basic Guide to Computing - Part 1 & 2 courses (IT510 & IT511).

Learners should either have regular access to the Internet to practice online training between sessions, or be prepared to come into college to use the practise facilities available.
