The starting salary for a new cabin crew recruit is approximately £14,000 per annum including flight pay which is an allowance that is paid to you for every hour that you are working away from base. Experienced cabin crew’s salary can go up to £16,000 and senior £22,000 both including flight pay.

This course has been designed to give you the knowledge, skills and qualifications that will lead to employment within an airport or as an air cabin crew member. It is made up of a number of industry recognised qualifications in the travel, hospitality and airline industries. Successful completion of the cabin crew qualifications will prepare you for an interview with leading organisations in the industry. You will receive some of your training in our brand JetBlueAir 18-seat air cabin.
Entry Requirements

You will need a minimum of 150 GCSE entry points or a relevant Level 1 Diploma including GCSE English at Grade D

Demonstration of good personal presentation and communication skills during a group interview, similar to those used in the airline industry

The outcome of your initial diagnostic assessment will also be taken into consideration when offering you a programme of study.

What will I be doing on the course?
- City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Air Cabin Crew
- NCFE Level 2 Certificate for Air Passenger Service Agents (Ground Handling)
- NVQ Level 2 Food & Drink Service
- Spanish for Air Cabin Crew
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed using various assignment methods and online testing. One unit of the qualification requires a water based assessment, therefore applicants will need to be able to swim.
What will I need?
You will have to be purchase a uniform, approximate cost of £210 and pay £25 towards the cost of Industry Related day trips.
You will have to pay approximately £300 for an optional residential trip and pay for your own personal stationery.

Additional Activities
As a full time student you will have the chance to take part in enrichment activities. These include various industry related trips and day visits and the opportunity for an overseas study tour.
