The course offers you the opportunity to gain an industry recognised electrical installation qualification and to pursue a career in the electrical industry.

What do I need to get on this course?
To qualify for entry to Level 2, you are required to have obtained at least 4 GCSE’s at Grade D or above or a relevant vocational qualification at level 1.
In addition, you must have at least a level 1 competence level in Maths and Literacy
You may need to sit initial assessment tests and attend an interview with the course tutor.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed by a combination of multiple choice on-line exams and practical assignments based on:
- Health and safety at work
- Electrical Science
- Electrical Craft Theory
Where does it lead?
Our Electrical installation programme enables you to progress to our Electrical Installation Level 3 course and to become a qualified Electrician.
Electrical employment varies from installing wiring in domestic homes, maintaining crucial parts of the Railway Network, installation on building sites and electrical maintenance such as hospitals, Council properties or shopping centres.
