These are in part taster sessions but can provide a whole range of developmental opportunities for the learner. Open to KS4 (Year 10 and Year 11) and KS 5 learners from special and mainstream schools who have learning difficulties. Opportunity for learners to explore College as an option for future, to develop independent/social skills. To develop interests and skills in the subject areas on offer.
Course Content
Currently opportunities exists for leaners to attend College on Fridays. Participating in choice of Construction or Hair in the morning and Art or Beauty in the afternoon. These are non - accreddited courses.

Learners, having experienced a general Further Education environment, may opt to attend the College on leaving school. This can include First Level Learning programmes or other vocational/subject areas within College.
