Skills Unit:

Computerised Accounting

Understanding how a computerised accounting system fulfils all the functions of a manual double entry bookkeeping system.

Installation, configuration and the day-to-day use of Sage 50 accounts software.

The course provides comprehensive and practical training, assuming no previous knowledge of bookkeeping or Sage 50 accounts.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for the Level 2 Computerised Accounting for Business Unit.  However, it is recommended that prospective candidates will already have basic skills in both numeracy and literacy prior to embarking on a course of study for this qualification.

Certification

On successful completion of the unit, the learner will receive a certificate to confirm the achievement of the Level 2 Computerised Accounting for Business Unit.  The certificate will include the full name and accreditation number  and the award of Pass.

The learner will also receive a certificate from Sage confirming their competence in the use of Sage accounting at Level 2.
