You will learn about the principles of digital media, giving you a grounding to go on and explore design ideas and concepts. You will investigate a wide range of digital media elements and applications including 2D and 3D graphics, animation, human computer interaction, website creation and design, video editing and audio concepts.
You will be able to use a wide variety of digital media software packages and be able to apply these to the production of a range of digital media types. You will also be able integrate these media types to produce sophisticated web sites.
In addition you will develop the skills to manage and produce artefacts within a large project working on your own and within a larger group.
