Entry CriteriaIf you are interested in applying for the course, you’ll be interviewed by one of our tutors. You will need to have achieved at least 2 GCSEs grade A* - D including English, or have obtained an entry level 3 qualification in a relevant course. Along with these qualifications, we will also need to see a good reference from your former teachers, tutors or your employer. Mature learners will be assessed at interview and will require evidence of a good work record. Attendance and participation in a course taster event is also required You need to be at least 16 years of age and demonstrate an interest in working in the health and social care sector. To work with children (under 18) or vulnerable adults students will also need to complete an enhanced disclosure check for the Criminal Records Bureau. The college will organise this for you but you will have to pay. Full details regarding payment and documents required will be provided prior to enrolment
