Additional Notes Entry CriteriaIf you are interested in applying for the course, you’ll be interviewed by one of our tutors. You will need to have achieved at least 2 GCSEs grade A* - D including English, or have obtained an entry level 3 qualification in a relevant course. Along with these qualifications, we will also need to see a good reference from your former teachers, tutors or your employer. Mature learners will be assessed at interview and will require evidence of a good work record. Attendance and participation in a course taster event is also required. All candidates must be committed to working with young children and their families, be creative, energetic, have a sense of humour and a lively, outgoing personality. You need to be at least 16 years of age and demonstrate an interest in working with children.
Progression DetailsOn successful completion you may progress to a CACHE Level 2 Certificate for the Children and Young People's Workforce
