This course covers:

- advanced massage techniques, such as soft tissue release, muscle
energy techniques, frictions, passive stretching and neuromuscular
techniques
You have four observational practical assessments.
You learn the theoretical topics through both home study and
tutor-led classes. You learn the practical application of the
various techniques through tutor demonstrations and practising on
your peers.
You gain a Level 4 Certificate in Sports Massage which qualifies you to apply for work at sports clubs and events with professional athletes or to set up your own clinic/practice.
To do this sport massage course you need:
Level 3 VTCT Sports Massage or Swedish Body Massage
You will need to cover at least 100 hours of sports massage, which
must be documented in your portfolio. Some of these hours will be
done outside the classroom at sporting events.
On successful complettion you can do a Level 5 qualification in sports massage.
