This course is for experienced plumbers and heating engineers who are qualified in a QCF heat pump installers course, who want to service and maintain heat pump systems and who need QCF accreditation. If you need full revision and training, this course is for you

This course covers the inspection servicing and maintenance of heat pump systems in accordance with the new QCF framework qualification.

You are assessed in the classroom and workshop by a combination of online multiple-choice exam paper-based exam and practical assessments.

This course covers the inspection servicing and maintenance of heat pump systems in accordance with the new QCF framework qualification.

You are assessed in the classroom and workshop by a combination of online multiple-choice exam paper-based exam and practical assessments.

A training manual which accompanies the course will be sent out to you 3-4 weeks prior to attendance and you will be expected to self study in preparation for the assessments. The course consists of 1.5 days of revision both in the classroom and in the workshop by a skilled tutor.

This course and certificate are recognised by the current Microgeneration Certification Schemes which means they meet the requirement for appropriate training in solar thermal technology. Successful completion provides suitably qualified individuals with training evidence when applying for registration on a Microgeneration Certification Scheme that allows self-certification. It also works as notification to building control departments of work completed.

This course leads to a Level 3 award within the Qualifications and Credit Framework. It has been mapped to National Occupational Standards, which means you receive the most beneficial and industry-relevant training possible.

You need to have successfully completed the QCF Level 3 Award in Heat Pumps Installation before attending this course.

Upon completion of this course you can progress to Level 3 awards in other environmental technologies.
