About This Course:

This highly practical course prepares you for higher education and media industry employment. On this course, the teaching staff have a wide variety of media experience and you can expect media guest speakers, visits and professional workshops. You’re continually assessed and you’ll have a project that will be graded.

What You Need:
  • One Higher Grade (English preferred) OR
  • NC Media or a similar NC programme
  • Students without these qualifications but who have personal experience may enter at the discretion of the course leader
  • We like to meet to have a chat with all our applicants. You will then have an individual interview and a short written task (100-200 words). …

What You Study:

The areas you’ll study include: Journalism, Public Relations Principles and Practice, Radio Production, Introduction to the Creative Industries, Film Theory and Writing for the Media. The course focuses on practical media production activities using industry standard resources.

After The Course:

Career

Journalism, television and radio production, video production, public relations, and advertising.

Continuing study
