The Film and Television pathway will give you a full understanding of the creative media industry with a focus on gaining practical camera and editing skills and invaluable, industry related work experience. Journalism and Photography units are also available if you wish to develop a more rounded approach to broadcast media in preparation for broadcast journalism, photography and television presenting. It is the practical nature of the Film and Television pathway that really opens up the possibilities for you to experience producing live television, shooting music videos and making your own short films. There are also countless opportunities for you to be involved in professional productions including filming stage shows at the Garrick Theatre; bands at the Guildhall and Art Exhibitions at the Wedge Gallery, to name just a few.
