This course is designed to develop the advanced skills, knowledge and performance of teaching support staff in schools. Taught subjects include Relationships, Supporting & Assessing Learning, Literacy & Numeracy, Inclusion & Special Needs, Health & Safety and Professional Practice. You will be assessed by a college assessor, who mentors and guides you, providing meaningful feedback on your practice and enabling you to develop within your role. You will attend a monthly workshop in the college, over 9 months with themed sessions based on the core skills in teaching and learning. How will I be Assessed?
