introduction to Acting and the world of theatre. The course will
give you acting experience as well as a range of other work
designed to help you understand how theatre works and develop

Acting course What will I Study? Level 2 Diploma in Acting course
includes • Working in the Performing Arts Industry • Performing
Arts Production Process • Acting Skills and Techniques • Devising
Plays • Performing Scripted Plays • The Development of Drama How
will I be Taught? The course is taught through practical projects,
with written and research work attached as required. You will be
working on a new project every half term. These projects will
usually have a practical / performance component as an essential
part of the project. In the Summer term the course concludes with a
major production in the College Theatre. How will I be Assessed?
Assessments are both internal and external, each unit will consist
of between 1 to 3 assignments. The range of assignments will be
diverse from tutor observation in classes, projects and live
theatre performance to essays, presentations and research projects.
