Depending on what you want to do, will determine what it is you will study; Networking, Systems Security, Systems Development, Games Design, Website Infrastructure, and more. Five Reasons to Study this Course at Chichester 1. Up to date software 2. Technical skills and employment prospects 3. Knowledgeable and student-focused staff 4. Flexible approach to learning 5. Project focus, in preparation for work What will I Study? First year will consist of 9 modules including Information Systems, Computer Systems, Communications Technologies, Website Production, Software Design and Development and Event Driven Programming. This covers the basic concepts of computing and will teach you a range of vocational skills that can be transferred between education and employment with ease. Second year students will have optional pathways to choose. This will allow you to focus your efforts in areas of specific interest in preparation for the next step. These choices consist of Systems Development, Games Design, Creative Technologies, Website Infrastructure, and many more... It's your course, so you tell us what you want to study! How will I be Taught? We have a selection of specialists in the fields of study, who are here to help and to lead you through developing your skills and practices in the various sectors within computing. This leads to a number of theory led and practical focused sessions. All of our sessions are ran in class based environments with our own set of specialist labs available. How will I be Assessed? The Level 3 is a purely vocational subject, with no exams that work towards the end grades. We will assess your ability through a series of submitted assignments, practical work, and presentations to 'stakeholders'. What our students say? My confidence has improved a lot while I have been at college and I've made lots of friends to hang out with, though my course keeps me really busy too!
