meet your individual learning needs. What will I Study? Diploma in
Health & Social Care, Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult
Social Care, Award in Employment Responsibilities and Rights and
Personal, Learning and Thinking Skills. Functional Skills English
and Maths at Level 1 or 2. How will I be Taught? One to one with an
assessor who will visit you regularly in the workplace. Resources
and course materials will be provided where appropriate. Group
and/or one to one support from a functional skills tutor if
required. How will I be Assessed? Competence is demonstrated
through the completion of a portfolio of evidence using written and
oral evidence, observation in the workplace, recognition of prior
learning & work products. Functional Skills in English and
Maths is assessed by a written examination. What our students say?
