Entry Requirements:

Meet the criteria as set down by the E2E programme including an admissions interview.

Core Skills:

Preparation for employment.Safety and housekeeping related to the motor industry.
Adult numeracy & literacy.

Assessment:

By a series of workshop based practical tasks and production of a portfolio of evidence.

Full Description:

The E2E programme is aimed at students who may not have any formal qualifications from school or may have achieved grades below those expected. This course allows them to obtain a formal motor vehicle qualification and skills to improve their employability to take to a propective employer in lieu of GCSE grades.

The course is practically based although elements of technology have to be included to help with the understanding of how a vehicle works.

Key skills will also be included to futher improve the chances of finding employment.

The attendance pattern for the first 16 weeks is 3 full days each week, after that the course expands to 4 full days for the rest of the year.
