planning and setting up your own business using our exciting new
Start-up Lounge facilities as well as developing skills and
knowledge required for business activity. The qualification is
equivalent to 2 A Levels.
5 GCSEs grade C and above including English or equivalent. Minimum Merit grade for BTEC First Diploma progressions.
Assessment:Course work through a variety of assessment methods including assignments, presentation, reports, observation and discussion. You will achieve either a Pass, Merit or Distinction for each unit and the overall grade for the course will be assessed on the level of achievement in all units. If you perform exceptionally throughout the course you will be awarded a Distinction.

Full Description:• 8 mandatory units including:
The Innovative Entrepreneur; Business Planning and Pitching;
Financial Planning and Implementation; Launching your Business
Vision; Monitoring the Performance of your Business; Operating your
Business; Planning the Future Strategy of your Business; Leadership
and Teamwork. Additional units will be drawn from 7 further units
and will include, for example, Social Enterprise and Work
Experience
• Functional Skills, as appropriate eg ICT
• Individual Tutorials
