Practical work is continuously assessed and the theory element is designed to suit the learner's needs.

Academic Progression:

After this course, if you are successful, you may be able to progress onto the Level 1 Catering and Hospitality City and Guilds 7107.

Career Progression:

Entry 3 is designed to raise awareness of employment opportunities in the Catering and Hospitality industry and is available to full time learners.

Full Description:

The course covers independent living skills including:

  • personal nutrition
  • hygiene
  • health and safety
  • budgeting

Learners also take part in practical cookery workshops and take Functional Skills classes in English, Maths and IT.
