Who is this course for? This qualification is designed to help learners build the knowledge and skills needed when supporting pupls learning in primary, secondary or special schools. What qualifications or experience do I need ? Learners should be at least 18 years old. Working towards Literacy at Level 2 is required. What will I study ? One day a week in college plus independent study using an e-portfolio. Students will need to show competence in both knowledge and skills. How will I be assessed ? Complete part time application form. Will I need an interview ? Yes. Are there any extra costs for equipment/materials ? Extra costs will include: * Study materials * Travel costs to and from your placement * CRB * Text Book Further Information You will need to provide evidence of at least 12 hours working practice at interview. You will need access to a PC for independent study.
