This course has been designed to help learners achieve the skills and knowledge needed to work in the Health and Social Care sector. Learners will also develop employability skills, including communication skills, team work, time management and creativity.Subjects include some of the following: The role of the carer at meal-times, creative activities for children, promoting healthy eating in care and helath and social care needs. The course is taught using a variety of methods including: lectures, practical sessions, project work, research, guest speakers and vistis.
