Academic Progression:This course provides the underpinning knowledge you will need for NVQ in Early Years Care and Education at Level 2, if you wish to progress to this further qualification. It could also qualify you to progress to a Level 3 Diploma course if you do well.
Full Description:Course Content:
The two days in college cover areas such as the Physical Care and
Development of Children, Keeping Children Safe, Communicating with
Adults and Children, and Children's Learning and Play.
Work Placement:
The programme involves attending a designated early years setting
for 2 days a week and some 'block weeks'. This is an assessed part
of the course.
