JEWELLERY MAKING FOR BEGINNERS
Student will be taught a range of basic Jewellery techniques which will include piercing with a jewellers saw, forming, etching, texturing and soldering. The materials which will be used are base metals such as copper and brass (students may work in precious metals if they wish to bring them to the course).
Students will be asked to produce a design file/technical log of their work for their homework.
Students will be taught to develop safe working practices when working with materials and equipment.
