Part Time

The course will provide a range of opportunities for learning about different aspects of art and design. Research skills, design development and personal creativity will be encouraged. Students will be expected to continue their studies at home between sessions. Each term will consist of project work based on different themes e.g. drawing & painting, graphic design, 3D design, textiles, illustration.

Work will be assessed using the Agored Cymru Assessment Criteria for the course.

What qualifications you need

Students should have completed the Introduction to Art course and achieved Level 2 for the Term 3 unit Art & Design - Personal Project - as part of either the Drome/YCIC programme. Other applicants may apply enrolment subject to interview with portfolio.

Work produced for this course will provide substantial material for portfolio development.
