HTML Emails Training

This one-day course will teach attendees how to design and code HTML emails that work with a range of email clients. This will include designing email templates that can be re-used for different campaigns.

Objectives:

* To fully understand how different email clients and browsers display HTML emails
* To understand how images work
* How to format email content using HTML
* How to style email content using CSS
* How to design HTML email templates that can be re-used

Content:

* Overview of HTML, the internet, software used in running email campaigns and the testing of email clients/browsers.
* Design best practice and limitations, and how to get the audience's attention.
* Using HTML to format content including headings, line breaks and paragraphs, bold and italic font, lists, the span tag, spaces and special characters.
* How to include links within the page, to your website, email links, and how to use images as links.
* Creating layouts for your emails using tables.
* Styling the page, text, borders and links using CSS.
* Understanding, optimising, adding and referencing images in emails.
