Full TimeOver 2 years students will undertake a total of 18 units. These comprise 8 core units and 10 specialist units, selected from a range. Core units include Law, Data Interpretation, Leadership and Citizenship. Among the specialist units available are Psychology, Physical Preparation, Teamwork, Criminology and Discipline.
How you will gain the qualification
To obtain the Diploma students must successfully complete all 8 core units and 10 specialist units. Students will be assessed through a range of methods including written assignments, oral presentations role-play and work-related projects. All students will enroll onto the Welsh Baccalaureate (level3 Advanced) ACTIVITIES During the course students will benefit from visits to various Public Service establishments, and presentations by personnel from a variety of Services. They will also undertake practical activities including residential and camping expeditions.
What qualifications you need
Students will need to possess:
At least 5 x GCSE at A*-C. (Must include English Language or Welsh first language at C or above or
Merit at Level 2 plus GCSE English at grade C or OCN equivalent

The course will be an ideal base for progression into Higher Education, in a variety of disciplines.
