This is a practical, work-related course which provides a broad foundation in Computing studies and a firm basis for specialism in Computer Networking and IT Technical Support. You may leave the course at the end of the first year with 90 credits, however successful completion of the full 2 year course is equivalent to 3 A-levels and which will therefore attract UCAS points to enable entry to University.The Extended Diploma is made up of 18 units: 8 core units plus 10 specialist units.
