The course prepares candidates for the BHS Exams and
Assessments.
Candidates complete Horse Knowledge and Care and Riding
sessions.
Candidates decide when they are ready to enter themselves for
the exams.
BHS courses delivered at Coleg Cambria - Northop will normally involve learners riding college horses. This is dependant on a suitable horse being available to match each candidates profile. If you wish to use your own horse if possible please contact our Equine Manager to discuss this further.

Candidates will need an individual assessment to establish their suitability for the course. Previous riding experience is normally essential for the Riding option.
