General information

Speaking another language improves your employment prospects in the UK and overseas, and makes foreign holidays more enjoyable. Our courses give you the skills to communicate clearly and effectively in your chosen language and introduce you to the culture of the country. The courses are taught in our well-equipped language centre at Rookery Lane and can be studied part-time in the evening.

Topics covered are negotiated with the students from the following list:

  • Personal details including alphabet, numbers and jobs
  • Talking about families
  • Directions including geographical information
  • Ordering food in a restaurant

No formal entry requirements.

Additional course costs

The cost of this course is £195. In addition to this cost, the tutor may ask you to buy a course book of his/her choice.

Dates and times

The next course will begin on Tuesday 26 February 2012 and runs from 7pm to 9pm. The duration of the course is 15 weeks.
