Entry RequirementsThere are no specific entry requirements, however if you need to develop your skills, as part of the qualification you will obtain Functional Skills in English, maths and ICT.
What will I study?Level 2 Diploma will cover areas such as:
• Technical fault diagnosis
• Working with ICT hardware and equipment
• Investigating and defining requirements
• Security of ICT systems
Level 3 Diploma will cover area such as:
• Testing ICT systems
• Working with ICT hardware and equipment
• Technical fault diagnosis
• Technical advice and guidance
You will be assessed in one or more of the following ways:
• Practical demonstration/Assignment
• Practical examination
• Written examination.
Candidates studying Level 2 will achieve a Level 2 Diploma in Professional competence for IT & IT Telecoms professional
Candidates studying Level 3 will achieve a Level 3 Diploma in Professional competence for IT & IT Telecoms professional
Functional Skills
For Level 2 apprenticeship you will need to study Functional Skills
English, maths and ICT at Level 1.
For Level 3 apprenticeship you will need to study Functional Skills English, maths and ICT at Level 2.
