This course is designed for anyone with responsibility for looking after young children and provides an introduction to emergency first aid.
Course content
By the end of the training session delegates will be able to: Recognise their responsibilities Deal with unconsciousness Undertake CPR Deal with choking Control bleeding Manage fractures Deal with burns and scalds Recognise meningitis Recognise croup Recognise seizures Undertake a primary survey Provide rescue breathing
Completion of the course will provide delegates with the essential knowledge of first aid in relation to young children.
