This 3 unit course will equip you with a variety of skills in music and music technology. It focusses on sound engineering as well as performance, composition and the critical analysis of music and sound.
You will have access to high quality equipment and will take part in a number of live projects and performances throughout the year.
This course is suitable for both musicians and sound engineers.

  • Live Music Performance
  • Live Sound Techniques

Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs at grade C or above including Mathematics and English and a minimum average points score of 4.9.

Progression

This course can be topped up to a Subsidiary Diploma (6 units) in the second year.
